A joint event by the BioAgora and TRANSPATH projects, the online interactive session is part of the new Nature & Economy Dialogues Series. It thus aims to connect researchers, inviting them to rethink political and economic structures that relate to biodiversity loss and recovery with a focus on the transformative changes needed to address the root causes.

In this first webinar, we zoom in on nature credits, where we will explore what nature credits are and how they work, what their potentials and limitations are and whether they address the root causes of biodiversity loss or mainly treat the symptoms. To that end, we invite two different perspectives on nature credits and create an interactive space for joint reflection where the participants are invited to discuss their perspectives – economic, ecological, political and ethical - on nature credits.

We welcome all interested researchers (regardless of discipline), especially those involved in projects within the EU HORIZON Transformative Change cluster.
